We will attempt to go out today and sell puppies if the weather allows. If anyone is interested, we will be at Sportsman's around 10am. Two more puppies left; Spot and Barney! They are great dogs! Come and see for yourself!

We decided to get the puppies their shots and checkup today instead of Monday. They were so well behaved! I was proud! Big Red weighed in at almost 14lbs and Green Bean weighed the least at 11 lbs 4 oz. The ride over and back was a breeze. It put them right to sleep! Tonight was a big night . . . Big Red left to stay at his new home! Yep, I got a little teary-eyed, but I know he is in good hands! And he's right next door, so I can see him often! It's supposed to be raining for the next several days, but if the weather is good enough we will go to Sportsman's Saturday! Hope to see you there!

The puppies are now eating solid food. They love to go outside and usually wait to go potty until they are outside. This has made it nice for clean-up, but we take them out much more often than we did before. We put a fence around the patio for them to run, eat and play in. Hopefully they will play so hard that they will sleep longer in the night!!! They are growing so fast and are really having fun exploring, playing and running around. By the end of the day, I am exhausted, but it has been rewarding!

 Today the neighbor kids came over and played with the puppies while they were outside. After playtime the puppies were very tired and fell right to sleep.

Lately, they have been having some accidents in their box and have become very poopie puppies! When we got back from our ward Christmas party, the puppies all got bathes and are now snuggled up together!

This picture is a cute one that we see a lot. They peek their heads out of the whelping box and cry to get out. They love their play time and love to be held.

 Mom is still feeding the puppies, but not very much. They will be weaned by the end of the week. It seemed to go by really fast!

We've got feeding time down to a science now. They are eating milk-soaked, but not soggy puppy food three times a day. They love the adventure of being out of their "kennel" and into the eating and play area. They eat and poop (on paper most of the time) and wrestle with each other. It is so fun to watch them run and jump around. We were hoping to take them outside for a new adventure today, but it snowed last night so we will put that off for another day.

The puppies got their first bath today. Then we took their pictures for the blog. They are so cute and fluffy, but they didn't stay clean very long!

We have started feeding the puppies puppy food soaked in puppy milk replacement. It didn't take long for them to get used to it! They eat pretty good now and we are moving toward dry food...that will be nice!

We put the young little puppies in a laundry basket and went to the Washington Family Veterinary Clinic where they had their dew claws removed. Washington Family Veterinary Clinic is located just north of Sportsman's Warehouse and I am really pleased with their service.
